The company was started in 1989 by Rosemary Suthers in the ballroom of her mansion house in Nottingham, originally selling fabric only and called 'The Fabric Room'. It quickly outgrew its premises and name and moved into shop premises in Nottingham selling wallpaper, designing and selling bespoke furniture and curtains manufactured using the wealth of talented traditional craftsmen in the area but with chic new designs created by Rosemary.

The company expanded and was relocated to a shop in Chiswick in the year 2000 when its name was changed to Emporio Interiors. After five years here, Emporio relocated again into central London Chelsea where it is today and is now a private limited company.

We are pleased to supply leading architects and designers in London and throughout the U.K. and abroad. We have exported furniture to India, Spain and Zurich.

As all goods are made to order, clients can specify sizes required.
